In Religion, the sixth graders are learning about the Old Testament prophets such as Isaiah, Hosea, and Micah.

            In Science, they are learning about geology, Earth history, the rock cycle and dinosaurs.

          We just read our book of the month Someday.  With the help of Mrs. Kahmann, we made puzzle pieces telling what we are going to do “someday” and what we are going to do “today” to make our someday happen.  These are on display as a calendar in the 6^th grade hallway. We will also begin reading “A View from Saturday” from our reading book.

          In English, we are working on the trait of voice using the book The Bunyons. We are also learning about verbs including memorizing the helping verbs using a rap and indentifying transitive and intransitive verbs.

We will also being work on essays for the Cystic Fibrosis Writing Contest.
